Reflections on Foundations: Early Childhood
I am now in week 8, the final week, of the first course in my Master's of Education in Early Childhood Studies program. It has been 8 weeks already?? The time has gone so fast. I really learned a lot from this course. Learning online was definitely a challenge at the beginning, but after the first week or two, I got into a pretty good routine that will carry me through the rest of the program. I think the things I learned from this course WILL be the foundations for my learnings in the rest of the program and will make a positive contribution to my career as a early childhood professional. I am so glad I made the decision to go with this program. I am looking forward to the next course, Early Childhood Development.

ReplyDeleteThe time has flown by quickly. When I started this class I was still pregnant and now I have a 4 week old! I especially want to thank you for all of the help and support throughout this course. Any time I had a question you were there to offer your advise. It is great to know that I have a colleague willing to help when I am in need of another standpoint. I hope to do the same for you one day. I am sure that we will work together soon!
BethAnn, you have been a leader for your colleagues as we progressed together through the Foundations: Early Childhood course. I am particularly grateful to you for the support you provided with blog work. Your blog was a model that enabled others to learn. I also found it to be a great resource; your posting of the links to our classmates’ blogs was very helpful. I wish you all the best as you continue in the next phase of your career. I have no doubt that you have a long and rewarding career ahead as an early childhood practitioner. I also congratulate you on your contributions as a joyful parent and military spouse. Please know that you have enriched my learning experience as a Walden colleague! -Susan
ReplyDeleteBethAnn,
ReplyDeleteI haven't been able to reach out to you as much as I had wanted to, but I thank you for your wonderful discussion posts and especially your blogs. I would love to work toward setting up my blog to be as organized and eye catching as yours. It is definitely something that I can feed off of and learn from and I appreciate that. You are always willing to help your colleagues if they are stuck and I thank you for that. I wish you all the best of luck in your continued studies and in your future endeavors. Thank you again for all your contributions to this course. -Kristen
